iTypeOnline is built for education and the public good. We do not run ads, we do not ask you to create an account, and we do not sell your personal information. This notice describes what happens on your device when you use the site. Last updated: April 2026.
What stays on your device
Your lesson progress, practice stats, heatmap, streaks, badges, and settings are saved in your browser using local storage. That data never leaves your device unless you export it or someone with access to your device reads it.
- No accounts, no user database for normal use.
- No third-party ads or marketing tracking pixels.
- You can export, import, or reset data from Settings at any time.
Cookies and analytics
The app does not set cookies for cross-site tracking. Some browsers may store site data required for functionality (local storage or offline cache).
We use GA4 to understand aggregate engagement (pages, basic usage) to improve the product. We do not build individual marketing profiles.
Your choices
- Use private browsing if you prefer not to keep long-term storage.
- Export your progress if you want to move devices.
- Reset local data from Settings on shared computers.
